Grilled Chicken Shawarma is a juicy, tender, and roasted meat that originated in the Middle East. The chicken version is flavored with a savory yogurt sauce and served with Turkish Tomato Cucumber Salad, which has many flavors. Shawarma is prepared from thin cuts of seasoned marinated lamb, mutton, veal, beef, chicken, or turkey and served in a wrap in Turkish flatbread. Shawarma is marinated all day in seasonings and spices like garlic, turmeric, dried lime, cinnamon, and cardamom, giving it a tangy and spicy complex flavor.
We also enjoyed this as it makes you feel happy with the different spices. Shawarma sauce is a delicious garlic sauce with a Greek yogurt base. Tahini adds some warmth, depth of flavor, and the classic Middle Eastern flavor. In Toronto, the Grilled chicken Shawarma is served with thin slices of chicken on pita with some pepper mixture and a yogurt tahini sauce. Yes, it contains calories, but not much as three ounces of boneless and skinless chicken breast contains 140 calories vs. 170 for the same amount of thigh meat, and if you are careful about your health and daily do exercise, it does not affect you. The chicken slices are sneaking little crisp, golden nuggets and charred on the grill. The best enjoyable way to eat chicken shawarma is to make a sandwich or wrap of chicken and pair it with some vegetables.
